The winner was Vitginia Hurst (27) with 31 points on a countback from Karen Tolhurst (37) also on 31 points and the 3rd placegetter was Sandra Draper on a countback also on 31 points. The Vegie Patch sponsored nearest the pin on the 13 went to Louise Aaron and on the 17th to Karen Tolhurst. Balls went to Virginia Hurst, Karen Tolhurst, Sandra Draper and Marilyn Rowe. Next Thursday the ladies play a 4 BBB Vs Par GNSW qualifying sponsored by Sue Tonkin and Jocalyn Lawler.
Wednesday 19th July
was Midweek time at the Mountain’s “TOP” course. The winner on a cold windy day was Clive Home (30) with 40 points picking up a $35 voucher while the 2 Ball went to Rob Joyce (25) and Wally Sheil (23) with 46 points picking up a $15 voucher each.Nearest the pin on the 5th went to Rob Joyce at 980 cms and on the 17th to Stuart Brown at 246 cms. was a Medley Single Stableford with the Annual Wal Patterson Memorial sponsored by Gordon Stovold, Peter Bamford, Paul Rowe and Yvonne Murray in conjunction. The winners of the Wal Patterson played as an aggregate stableford team of 4 comprising 3 men and 1 lady went to the Team of Gordon Stovold, Paul Rowe, Peter Bamford and Rosalie Rolfe with 122 points. The Single Stableford went to Grahame Phillips (18) with 39 points on a countback from Paul Rowe (15) also on 39 points. The Blue Mountains Plantation Shutters and Cabinet Making sponsored nearest the pin on the 2nd went to Paul Rowe at 38 cms, the Office Choice Blue Mountains Nearest the pin on the 5th went to Beau Flaherty at 223 cms, the Paul and Gabrielle Lonergan nearest the pin on the 7th went to Dave Birrell at 86 cms, on the 13th to Kit Newcombe at 132 cms, the 14th failed to go off and the Ben Cameron sponsored nearest the pin on the 17th went to Graham Dowdell at 78 cms also picking up the men’s Propin of $117. Balls went to 34 points on a countback.
